Oscilloscope is an excellent tool for consistency testing, tolerance analysis and performance verification. These buses and their performance are very important to designers when designing products, and their choice of conformance and debugging tools reflects this importance.
Embedded systems designers have different attitudes towards serial communication. Although high-performance buses (such as PCle) are used for some key communication tasks, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, rs-232 /UART, and low-speed USB buses are used for most embedded designs in inter-chip communication. Embedded systems designers choose these industrial standard serial buses for different reasons than SATA designers.Typically, embedded system designers build their own parallel buses or use custom platforms based on UART. In the last decade, however, engineers have realized that pci, designed for areas such as automotive electronics or computer peripherals, has a more stable supply chain, better development tools, easier integration and lower cost than custom standards
The test requirements for these buses vary. The most important requirements are bus stability and traffic across the bus, followed by interoperability and compliance with standards. Instead of wasting time debugging the data bus, we want to use the data on the bus to see how other components in the design work. To this end, we will discuss some techniques to improve oscilloscope analysis of low - speed serial bus. Zhengzhou Defy oscilloscopes are used in these examples, but most of the techniques apply to oscilloscopes produced by other manufacturers. In addition, the oscilloscopes currently in use may not need to be upgraded or slightly upgraded to accommodate these tasks.
