The importance of oscilloscope analog front end design in hardware design
The analog front end ACTS like the lens of a camera. Many photography enthusiasts use SLR cameras, not least because their lenses have better optical properties. Similarly, the analog front end attenuates and amplifies the input signal, and the system noise is amplified. If the analog front end design of the oscilloscope is poor and the system noise is large, the tiny signal which we hope to test will not be captured.If observed in frequency domain, these noises will reduce the signal-to-noise ratio and increase the bottom noise.
