Digital oscilloscope completes video acquisition and display mode
For many video engineers, the most critical display problem is to have a hierarchical brightness display mode. This function, which is widely known in analog oscilloscopes and waveform monitors, characterizes the statistical characteristics of the signal by changing the brightness of the sample display. The TDS5000 series DPO can also perform this brightness grading display, using qualitative brightness information to allow users to observe subtle details and variations in the signal. Since most DSO cannot obtain enough data to accurately reflect complex video signals, users have to rely on special acquisition and display modes to compensate.
