DPO and development of oscilloscope technology
The application of digital fluorescence display technology enables DPO to simultaneously display multiple images of signals in different shades or colors. DPO clock can record 200,000 waveforms per second, and its signal data is 1000 times more than ordinary DSO, and each time can capture 500,000 waveforms. Digital oscilloscope - a variety of trigger functions to improve laboratory efficiency
Oscilloscope trigger determines the use of oscilloscope can capture, view and measure the signal, this function is as important as bandwidth and sampling rate. Of course, the trigger system has its own main technical indicators. Designers who use oscilloscopes to measure fast serial signals may assume that the trigger path has the same bandwidth as the oscilloscope's prescribed bandwidth. In fact, the relevant metric is "trigger sensitivity."
This technical specification presents a simple problem: when capturing a signal near the top of the frequency range, the amplitude of the signal is required to match the trigger sensitivity to the analog sampling bandwidth.
In the laboratory, we often have to observe the change process of some special signals, but the oscilloscope previously used only has the function of rising or falling edge trigger. DS1000 series oscilloscope trigger mode is a rise & fall edge trigger, solve this problem. Slope trigger is judged according to the rise/fall time of signal, which is more flexible and accurate than edge trigger. In the trigger function of DS1000 series oscilloscopes, the alternate trigger function shows obvious advantages.The function of alternately triggering is the reproduction of the function of analog oscilloscope in digital oscilloscope. This function guarantees that even two asynchronous signals can trigger stably at the same time, which greatly improves the working efficiency of the laboratory.
